Description

This was the twenty-second flight of Columbia. The primary payload was the Microgravity Science Laboratory (MSL) featuring 19 materials science investigations. Landed at Kennedy Space Center, FL. on April 8, 1997. Mission Duration: 3 days 23 hours 13 minutes 38 seconds. Originally the mission was scheduled to last 15 days, 16 hours, 29 minutes.
