High quality enamel lapel pin with a butterfly clutch backing. Size: 1.125" x .875". The design is shaped like the plaque which the Apollo 11 astronauts left behind on the Moon in commemoration of the historic event. The pin plaque replica is made of stainless steel. The plaque was attached to the ladder on the landing gear strut on the descent stage of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module (LM) which was to be left behind on the Moon.
